North Park Main Street Association announces this year’s 21st AnnualSan Diego County Credit Union Festival of Arts in North Park, a free art and live music festival with local food and an unlimited sample craft beer block. Held on Saturday, May 20, it will be a fun-filled day of entertainment and fun, starting at 11 a.m. through to 10 p.m. North Park locals look forward to this yearly tradition in the community. The all-day festival features local art, a popular array of live music and dance performances, interactive experiences, artisan items for sale, delicious locally-driven dining options and more. Thanks to sponsors like San Diego County Credit Union, AT&T, West Coast Tavern, Aall In Limo, A7D Creative Group, and The Lafayette Hotel, this annual festival continues to be free for all to attend.
“We’ve created a unique experience that is beyond any typical arts festival,” said Angela Landsberg, Executive Director of North Park Main Street. “Open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., we have created daytime and evening experiences for every local and visitor to North Park to enjoy. Families can come for the day, concert goers will revel in excitement when they see our line-up, and craft beer aficionados will be pleased when they hear we’ll have an afternoon and an evening craft beer block ticket experience. North Park Main Street and The Studio Door are partnering together to celebrate local artists at this year’s celebrated street fair with a juried art exhibition. We are seeking regional visual artists who are creating affordable works in diverse media for the premiere GALLERY IN THE STREET exhibition at the 21st Annual SDCCU Festival of Arts in North Park. Click here To sign up as an artist.

Live Art Exhibition
The festival features a live art element: contemporary urban artists will create unique works of art using creative everyday objects like cars, refrigerators and boom boxes. Attendees will be awe-struck by the creativity of these talented artists.
Six Concert Stages
The Dance & World Music stage in motion will entertain audiences of all ages at the 32nd Street Dance Stage, featuring performances by 25 different dance ensembles and musicians.
Waypoint Craft Beer Block
Attendees 21 and over are encouraged to come thirsty to partake in the Waypoint Craft Beer Block for unlimited tasters from a selection of over 30 local craft brewers, several of which are ranked as the best new breweries in San Diego! Kids Art Block
There will be something for everyone, including the kids. There will also be a hands-on Kids Art Block, providing kids the opportunity to participate in interactive activities designed to stimulate, inspire their imaginations and create their own masterpieces.

This celebration of the historic North Park neighborhood attracts more than 40,000 attendees. The 8-block festival, held along University near 30th Street, is packed full with entertainment and activities along with a chance to check out all of the great businesses in this hip urban neighborhood.
Public parking is available, along with a large private parking garage at 3829 29th Street. Public transportation can bring visitors to North Park via MTS bus. The 2 bus line runs along 30th Street through the heart of the event, and the 6, 7, and 10 buses also stop nearby. Visit www.sdcommute.com for schedule details. All proceeds benefit North Park Main Street, the non-profit organization committed to the development
