If you’re looking for somewhere in the Gaslamp with a high energy game-day experience, Super DJ Romeo, and sweet prizes, Whiskey Girl is the place to be. Doors open at 11am so there’s plenty of time to take advantage of their drink specials before the game. Also, the Whiskey Burger and nachos are a MUST. Whiskey Girl will be giving away a Sam Adams Neon Sign, Pacifico Bike, Jack Daniels Lawn Chair, gift cards and more! And 91X will be there raffling off a GoPro Hero3, a trip to Mammoth, PS4, and $1,000 in cash. Need we say more?! Reserve a table for Super Bowl Sunday because this place is likely to get packed.

Super Bowl 50

For the largest LED screen in the Gaslamp:
Florent Restaurant & Lounge

If you haven’t been to Florent in the Gaslamp, it should definitely be on your list of places to check out. This restaurant and lounge is located on Fifth Ave in the Old City Hall building and has an approachable, elegant atmosphere. The best part? It’s 17 FOOT Ultra HD LED Screen (the largest in the Gaslamp). This place is a no-brainer if you’re looking for a huge TV, tasty food by Executive Chef Brad Hightow, and a live DJ. Florent will be open at 10am on Super Bowl Sunday with brunch and game day eats and DJ FishFonics. For reservations, email vip@florentsd.com.

Super Bowl 50

For those not that interested in the Big Game:
Saiko Sake and Sushi Bar

a7d-saiko

Not a huge football fan, but still want to get out this Sunday? Get out to North Park and give Saiko Sake and Sushi a try. This place does not mess around. The owners are Certified Sake Specialists and their menu is stacked with only premium, small-batch sake. The sushi is made with fresh, hand-picked fish and is INCREDIBLE. They will have the game on in the background, so Super Bowl viewing is an option, but not the main focus. Saiko has a great daily happy hour as well, from 4-6:30pm!
